Early to Rise
Sesshoumaru stood in the open doorway of his home, watching her reunion with his brother. Kagome couldn't have said which surprised her more—the taiyoukai's answering wave, or the silver band on Inuyasha's ring finger.

Healthy
"Rin's mine," he replied with a healthy portion of pride.

"How did that happen?" Kagome tentatively ventured.

"No clue," Inuyasha replied wryly. Tugging his ear, he said, "It was awkward as hell at the time; but I figure if anyone'd understand, it's you."

While I just love this portrayal of InuYasha, I just can't get my head around the idea of InuYasha and Rin together. But that's fine, I don't have to prefer it that way, myself.:D

Rin must be making him cut his hair too...XDXD This really shows your skill at portraying in a succinct way, that InuYasha is a MAN, fully grown. He looks manly, and even fatherly. Broad shouldered, even tempered, adjusted. Well done!

That's right. I suppose when you think of it that way, he DOES become entirely different. Sort of how it feels when you think of your brother versus how it feels when you think of your father. And now that I think about it, this is Kagome's problem all through the original series. InuYasha starts off being 10 times her age, and now he's a full adult with kids. She just can't catch up to him. At least with Sesshomaru (given Forthright's story) she has a chance to create a real emotional base with a younger Sesshomaru.

I think you did fine with IY. He looks quite fatherly.
